How to Use Device Connect
Device Connect works on any Apple device with Safari — no install on the Apple side:
- Open AnExplorer on Android → menu (≡) → Device Connect → Start
- Note the displayed address:
http://192.168.x.x:8080 - Open Safari on iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Vision Pro and enter the address
- Your Android files appear in the browser — browse, download, upload
Both devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network. No internet connection required.
Mac: Additional Options
On Mac you can also mount Android storage directly in Finder:
- SMB: AnExplorer → Network → SMB Server → Start, then Finder → Go → Connect to Server →
smb://192.168.x.x - FTP: AnExplorer → Network → FTP Server → Start, then Finder → Go → Connect to Server →
ftp://192.168.x.x
