File Manager for Samsung Galaxy Watch

AnExplorer for Wear OS runs directly on your Samsung Galaxy Watch, giving you a compact file browser and file transfer tool on your wrist. Browse, transfer, and access files between your Galaxy Watch and your paired Android phone — all without touching your phone.

How It Works

AnExplorer uses a companion app model: install AnExplorer on both your Samsung Galaxy phone and your Galaxy Watch. The watch app communicates with the phone app over Bluetooth/WiFi Direct for file transfers.

Installation

  1. Install AnExplorer on your Samsung Galaxy phone from Google Play
  2. On your Galaxy Watch, open the Play Store (available on Galaxy Watch 4+)
  3. Search for AnExplorer and install the Wear OS companion app
  4. Pair your watch and phone — transfers work automatically over the same connection

For Galaxy Watch models without Play Store, install via Galaxy Store.

Features on Galaxy Watch

  • File Browser — Browse files stored on your watch's internal storage
  • Transfer to Phone — Send files from watch to phone (e.g. workout recordings, downloaded files)
  • Transfer from Phone — Receive files from phone without unlocking it (music, wallpapers, documents)
  • Music Management — Add and remove music files for offline playback on your watch
