File Manager for BYD Seal

Install AnExplorer on BYD Seal
From Google Play Store:
- Tap the Play Store icon on the DiLink home screen
- Search for AnExplorer
- Install — no account changes or developer settings required
Via USB (APK sideload):
- Download the APK from anexplorer.io/download on your phone or PC
- Copy the APK to a USB drive formatted as exFAT
- Plug the USB into your BYD Seal's USB-A port
- Open AnExplorer and tap the APK to install

The BYD Seal has USB-A ports in the centre console, typically used for the built-in dashcam or music playback. With AnExplorer:
- Browse dashcam event folders by date and time
- Copy important clips to Dropbox or OneDrive for backup

Transfer Files from Phone to BYD Seal
Move music, podcasts, or navigation maps wirelessly:

- Select files and share

Does AnExplorer work with BYD Seal dashcam recordings?
Yes. Dashcam footage typically writes to a USB drive in the centre console. Plug the drive in and AnExplorer reads it immediately. You can view, back up, or delete clips without leaving the car.
Can I use AnExplorer while driving in BYD Seal?
AnExplorer respects BYD's driving mode restrictions. Browsing is allowed, but complex setup dialogs (adding SMB storage, cloud account login) are blocked while the vehicle is in motion.
Does BYD DiLink block sideloaded apps?
Some DiLink firmware versions restrict installation of apps from unknown sources. Check Settings → Security in DiLink. If the option is not available, try installing from the Play Store instead.
