File Manager for BYD — Android Automotive
The BYD Seal runs BYD DiLink 4.0, an Android Automotive-based infotainment system with access to the Google Play Store. AnExplorer installs directly and gives you a full file manager for USB drives, dashcam footage, wireless transfer, and cloud storage access — right from your car's touchscreen.

Install AnExplorer on BYD Seal
From Google Play Store:
- Tap the Play Store icon on the DiLink home screen
- Search for AnExplorer
- Install — no account changes or developer settings required
Via USB (APK sideload):
- Download the APK from anexplorer.io/download on your phone or PC
- Copy the APK to a USB drive formatted as exFAT
- Plug the USB into your BYD Seal's USB-A port
- Open AnExplorer and tap the APK to install
Manage Dashcam and USB Drives
The BYD Seal has USB-A ports in the centre console, typically used for the built-in dashcam or music playback. With AnExplorer:
- Browse dashcam event folders by date and time
- Copy important clips to Dropbox or OneDrive for backup
- Play video files directly on the DiLink screen
- Manage your music library without removing the drive
Transfer Files from Phone to BYD Seal
Move music, podcasts, or navigation maps wirelessly:
- Open AnExplorer on your Android phone and tap WiFi Share
- Select files and share
- On the DiLink screen, open AnExplorer → Network → WiFi Receive
- Accept — transfer completes over the connected home WiFi or hotspot
