pCloud on Android with AnExplorer
pCloud is a Swiss cloud storage service with a unique lifetime plan option (pay once, store forever) and client-side encryption via pCloud Crypto. AnExplorer supports pCloud as a native cloud storage location — browse, upload, and download files directly from the AnExplorer interface.
pCloud's servers are in the EU and US; you choose your data location at account creation. This matters for data residency requirements.
How to Connect pCloud
- Open AnExplorer
- Tap + in the sidebar
- Select pCloud
- Sign in with your pCloud username and password
- Authorize access
- pCloud appears as a cloud storage entry in AnExplorer's sidebar
What You Can Do

pCloud Unique Features
Lifetime plans: pCloud sells one-time purchase lifetime storage plans (500 GB, 2 TB). This makes pCloud popular among users who want permanent cloud storage without a monthly fee.
Server data location: During sign-up, you choose EU (Luxembourg) or US (Dallas) data residency. This is fixed to your account and cannot be changed later.
pCloud Crypto: Client-side encrypted folder (pCloud Crypto, optional paid add-on). Files in the Crypto folder are encrypted on your device before upload — pCloud cannot see the content. Note: AnExplorer's WebDAV access to pCloud does not decrypt Crypto folder contents.
pCloud Storage Plans (2026)
| Plan | Storage | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 10 GB | Free (with referral bonuses up to 10 GB more) |
| Premium 500 GB | Lifetime | One-time ~$199 |
| Premium 2 TB | Lifetime | One-time ~$399 |
| Premium+ 2 TB | Monthly | ~$5.99/month |
pCloud's lifetime plans are genuinely unique in the cloud storage market. If you want to use AnExplorer with a permanent, no-subscription cloud storage, pCloud lifetime is worth considering.

Troubleshooting
Files uploaded but not visible:
- pCloud may take a moment to index newly uploaded files — try refreshing the folder view
- Verify the upload completed (check AnExplorer's notification or progress indicator)
Can't access pCloud Crypto folder:
- The Crypto folder is client-side encrypted — AnExplorer's integration doesn't have access to the Crypto decryption key
- Use the official pCloud app to access Crypto-protected files
