Connect to NAS or Windows Share from Acer Chromebook
Most Acer Chromebook models lack native SMB support in the Files app. AnExplorer fills this gap:
- Open AnExplorer → Network → Add Storage → SMB
- Enter IP address, share name, and credentials
- Browse the share directly alongside local files
Works with Synology NAS, QNAP, Windows shared folders, and any SMB 2.x/3.x server.
Transfer Files from Acer Chromebook to Android Phone
- Open AnExplorer on your Chromebook and tap WiFi Share
- Select files — an HTTP file server starts
- On your phone, visit the URL in Chrome to download, or open WiFi Receive in AnExplorer on the phone
