How to Access Yandex Disk Files on Android

Yandex Disk is a cloud storage service from Russia's largest internet company. It offers 5 GB of free storage, and is widely used in Russia, Eastern Europe, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine. AnExplorer supports Yandex Disk as a native cloud connection.

How to Connect Yandex Disk

1. Open AnExplorer
2. Tap the Cloud card on the Home screen → tap +
3. Select Yandex Disk
4. Sign in with your Yandex ID
5. Authorize AnExplorer access
6. Yandex Disk appears under Connections on the Home screen

WebDAV as an Alternative

Yandex Disk also supports WebDAV access at https://webdav.yandex.com. You can add this as a WebDAV connection in AnExplorer:

1. In AnExplorer, add a WebDAV connection
2. Server: https://webdav.yandex.com
3. Use your Yandex login email and password (or app-specific password if 2FA is enabled)

Troubleshooting

Login fails with 2FA enabled:

• Go to Yandex Passport → Security → App passwords
• Create an app password for AnExplorer, or use the WebDAV connection method with the app password

Files appear but download fails:

• Check storage space on your phone — long files such as videos may need space before full download
• Try using the WebDAV connection as an alternative if the native integration has an issue
