Step 1: Connect to the Same Wi-Fi Network

Ensure both your Windows PC or Mac and your LG Smart TV are connected to the same home Wi-Fi network (5GHz Wi-Fi is recommended for large 4K movie transfers) or connected via wired Ethernet.

Step 2: Launch AnExplorer and Start Connect on LG TV

  1. On your LG TV webOS Home Dashboard or Apps row, open AnExplorer.

  3. Click Start.
  4. The TV will display the local web address (https://web.anexplorer.io) and your TV's local IP address and port (for example, 192.168.1.85:8080).

Step 3: Open Web File Manager on Your Computer

  1. On your PC or Mac, open your preferred web browser (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari, or Firefox).
  2. Go to https://web.anexplorer.io.
  3. Type the IP address displayed on your LG TV screen into the connection prompt and click Connect.
  4. A pairing approval dialog will appear on your TV screen—use your Magic Remote to select Approve.

Step 4: Upload Media with Drag-and-Drop

  1. Your LG TV storage folders and any connected USB drives will appear in your computer's browser window.
  2. Navigate into your desired folder (such as Movies/, Videos/, or USB Storage/).
  3. Select video files or music folders on your computer desktop and drag them directly into the browser window.
  4. The files will transfer over your local Wi-Fi at high speeds.
  5. Once uploaded, select the video file on your LG TV and click Play with your Magic Remote to begin full-screen 4K playback.
